Cadent is a start-up financial services group located in Chicago’s Financial District. In a very tight schedule of eight weeks, the design team developed an office program, analyzed various office locations, developed test-fit schemes, and assisted in the selection process of a final location.

Additional services included assisting in budget development, full interior design services including interior finishes and furnishings, as well as coordination of all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and telecommunications subconsultants. The project was fast-tracked and utilized Perkins Eastman’s ability to self-certify the construction documents, reducing the time it takes to receive a building permit.

The office space design represents Cadent’s conservative investment image and a balance between operational issues and cost parameters. Within eight weeks, Cadent’s investment team was working in their new space
